Headlines: 2005 Seagames

I am reminded of Jay Leno’s Headlines segment on his show. Here’s what happens when lay-out artists screw up their work. (All images - from Inq7.net)

Finally, the Philippines win the SEAG and we see “Hello” Garcillano’s pic. Not very festive.

So everyone’s celebrating our winning 113 ++ gold medals and being champion on the SEAG. I’m probably right in saying we only won because our government didn’t have to pay airline tickets and lodging for our athletes. Thus, we are able to have unlimited delegation. The best airline tickets the government could probably afford to send our delegates to Cebu might just be from Asian Spirit. Asian Spirit Airlines, Fly like an Asian, Land like a Spirit!

But it's not our athletes’ fault our government could only support our politicians’ European getaways. Our athletes did beat the competition fair and square. Thailand is stipulating we’ve been fixing games etc. I can’t blame them though. Our government is the country’s primary endorser of cheating.
